Traveling to the Nicoya Peninsula:

   To the Southern Nicoya Peninsula, Province of Puntarenas:

To Tambor, Cobano, Montezuma, Cabuya, Cabo Blanco, Mal Pais, Santa Teresa, Manzanillo and Curu

1. From San José fly to Tambor, or drive 120 km to Puntarenas
2. From Puntarenas take the car and passenger ferry to Paquera
3. From Guanacaste drive Jicaral - Naranjo - Paquera

   To the Northern Nicoya Peninsula, Province of Guanacaste:

To Tamarindo, Junquillal, Ostional, Nosara, Samara, Carrillo, San Miguel and Coyote

1. From Puntarenas take the car and passenger ferry to Naranjo
2. From the Interamericana turn off at km 168 to the road leading over the Tempisque bridge
3. From Liberia drive down the highway to Santa Cruz
