El Ritmo Tropical is a cozy, family-owned hotel in Mal Pais, at a short walking distance to Playa El Carmen, Santa Teresa's most famous surf beach. Shops and services are nearby, same as the gorgeous beaches of Mal Pais.

The hotel restaurant serves international dishes with an emphasis on Italian food.

 

The hotel offers 7 beautiful bungalows amidst mature tropical gardens. There are 5 bungalows with queen size bed for two people, some have an additional single bed accommodating three people.

Another two bungalows are bigger and can accommodate four to five people.

Each bungalow has a bathroom with hot water shower, fans, ample storage place and a private porch with comfortable chairs and table to relax while enjoying the views into the tropical gardens.

 
The Restaurant and Pizzeria of the hotel is at a few steps from the bungalows towards the road. It is open for breakfast and dinner.
During high season it is also open for lunch.

 

 
Rates for the bungalows vary depending on the season and number of people. In high season it is around $ 50 for two people. You should however ask for rates individually by writing to the hotel owners and giving detail of your arrival / departure date and the number of people.
