This beach vacation house is a recently built (2007) 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath tropical style home which provides the comforts and quality of northamerican standards. The 2000 square foot (180 sqm) house sits on a private 1/2 acre lot which belongs to a four house gated complex on four acres ground and 100 yards of beachfront. It's located on the tranquil northern part of Santa Teresa, in a quiet residential neighborhood. About one half-mile north of the beach house is the renowned Flor Blanca Hotel and roughly one mile south are the many shops and restaurants of the town center of Santa Teresa.
The house is as comfortable as it is functional, and reflects the casual elegance of Costa Rican living. There is a large kitchen with an eat-up countertop bar, formal dining for 6, and a comfortable living room with Sky satellite TV. The kitchen is well equiped and comes with a new 18 cubic foot refrigerator, four-burner gas stove with oven, microwave, toaster oven, blender, coffee maker and a wide variety of the kitchen utensils and cooking accesories. The breezy open social side of the house has three double sliders opening to the pool area.
Down the hall from the social area is the first floor master bedroom with king bed, separate A/C, ample closet space, a large private bathroom and a two double sliders to the garden. Upstairs there are two bedrooms with 2 single beds each (which may be pushed together or left apart), ample closet space and a large bathroom. The upstairs balconies enjoy scenic mountain and ocean views. All bedrooms and living areas are well equipped with ceiling fans and 42,000 BTU's of A/C throughout the house, and separate units in two of the bedrooms. The interiors are tastefully decorated with tropical hardwood furniture handmade by local craftsmen.
Set into the flowering gardens with mature tropical hardwoods is a typical palm roof "rancho" (gazebo) with hammocks, private swimming pool, outdoor shower, and BBQ gas grill.
The house has a private parking for two vehicles, and the rental includes maid service, beach towels, mats, a safe and other utilities. The house also has an ADT Alarm system and and there is a on-site manager 24/7.
